The school is set on a beautiful 16-hectare campus situated in Scottsville. They are a Christian school with a Methodist ethos welcoming children from all faiths. They cater for pre-primary children through to their co-ed Preparatory School and up to their Girls Independent High School.
The school was founded in 1898 and they take pride in their cultural diversity and promote respect for all fellow citizens. Their excellent boarding facilities cater for girls from Grade 5 – 12, providing termly, weekly and overnight boarding in a secure and friendly environment.

Durban Girls’ College is a benchmark for excellence in education for girls from reception year to Grade 12 where a warm and caring foundation encourages a love of learning.
