Grayston Preparatory School was founded in 1994 and their aim is to develop a longing to learn in each child which is encouraged through the teaching of exciting lessons, setting challenging projects and trips and tours to exhibitions, plays and places of interest.

It is compulsory for pupils to take part in sport and a wide choice is available. The curriculum is holistic, covering a wide range of subjects. The pupils learn three languages – English, Afrikaans and Zulu. Maths, Natural Sciences, History, Geography, Technology, EMS, Sport, Music, Art and Drama make up the rest of the weekly programme.
