This Christian school provides students with the benefit of working alongside their peers to develop natural social skills in a co-ed, Christian,day-school environment.
Students are personally mentored by a member of staff and are given individual attention and care to ensure their personal development. The staff is proudly Christian, committed to “Grace” and they support the promotion of old school values and morals.
The aim of the academic programme at Grace College is to prepare the pupils to reach their full potential academically and ultimately achieve the results they are capable of in their final Matric Exams. Grace College serves pupils who will achieve seven distinctions as well as those pupils who will work hard to achieve a Senior Certificate.
Grace College offers a duel academic programme incorporating both the IGCSE Cambridge Curriculum and the FET (National Senior Certificate) Curriculum as they prepare for the final IEB (Independent Examination Board) Matriculation Examinations.
They offer excellent sporting facilities and all pupils are encouraged and expected to participate in at least one sport a term. Recognition is given to pupils who participate in other sports not offered at the school.

St Anne’s Diocesan College is a premier independent day and boarding school for girls in Grade 8 to 12. It’s an Anglican school with membership of the Anglican Church and the Diocese of Natal. The school was founded in 1877 and they have a long tradition of providing quality education for girls. Entrants do not necessarily have to be Christian but will be expected to participate in the daily chapel worship.
The boarding houses provide comfy and spacious accommodation and senior girls enjoy single study-bedrooms. Each house has its own Housemistress and assistant resident staff.
Academic standards are high. There is a strong work ethic in the College and the final results obtained in the National Senior Certificate examinations are consistently excellent. There is a wide range of activities; they have a comprehensive music and drama program and taking part in sport is compulsory. They have excellent sporting facilities – numerous playing fields, all weather tennis courts, beautiful cross country course to name just a few of their wonderful offerings.

They offer co-educational schooling from Grade RR to Grade 7, two classes per grade, with a balance between Academics, Arts, Culture and Sport.
The school is set in 10 hectares of beautiful grounds. Sport is an essential element in the development of a child at Cowan and team sports are compulsory.
Predominantly a day school, they also provide termly, weekly or casual boarding to any of their children. A fully qualified sister is on duty at all times.
Their Senior Primary curriculum is a dynamic one which is frequently reviewed to meet their children’s maturing emotional and academic needs and will be able to cope well with the demands of high school.
