Founded in 1890, they are one of Johannesburg’s oldest schools. Students from 27 different nationalities attend the DSJ and children from non-German speaking families can also attend.
They have a school uniform excluding those in the pre-school and Abitur.
The DSJ provides a learning and living environment to all its learners. Besides their usual school education which meets international standards, they also offer a range of special interest-courses and extramural activities.

Situated in a peaceful rural village, the focus of McGregor Waldorf School is to provide and encourage holistic and empowering education.
